On January 27th, 2026, Cape exited our beta and launched several new features and updates. This article walks through changes made to our Android service, as well as instructions for how to access new features. For iOS instructions, see here.
New Android Features and Updates:
- Secondary Numbers: Available as an Experimental Feature.
Identifier Rotation is still only available on Google Pixel devices (including GrapheneOS). We are working on expanding availability to include more Android devices soon. See more here.
Secure Global Roaming (International Roaming) is still available for Android users, see more here.
How to access Secondary Numbers
- Ensure you are on the latest version of the Cape App.
- In the Cape app, go to Account → Experimental Features.
- Select "Secondary Numbers" and follow the opt-in instructions.
