Steps to Fix the Issue

Check and Update Your Phone Number in Settings

• Go to Settings → Phone → My Number.
  • On iOS 18+: Settings → Apps → Phone → My Number or Settings → Cellular → select Cape eSIM → My Number

• Ensure your Cape number is displayed.

• If blank or incorrect, tap My Number and enter your Cape number, including the country code. Tap Save and go back.

• Example: Enter +11234567890 (with +1 as the U.S. country code).

• Restart your iPhone after updating.

Ensure Your Number Is Listed in iMessage and FaceTime

• For iMessage: Go to Settings → Messages → Send & Receive.

  • Ensure your Cape number is listed and selected.

• For FaceTime: Go to Settings → FaceTime.

  • Verify your Cape number is listed and selected.

Turn iMessage and FaceTime Off and On

• Go to Settings → Messages and turn off iMessage.

• Go to Settings → FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.

• Restart your iPhone.
